The Smiley Building
MOVE Studio is located in the historic Smiley Building in Durango, Colorado.
Dance has held a strong presence in the Smiley Building since it’s inception. Rooms #15 and #24 have been home to dance and movement for decades. In 2023, both spaces were reunited as MOVE, creating a beautiful sanctuary for adults to dance in Durango. We are so grateful to be housed in this amazing space, and are honored and excited to carry the legacy of dance in the Smiley Building forward into this current evolution.
